Are you purchasing the correct part for your generator?
If it is a controller, does it have the correct firmware loaded?
How long are you waiting for the correct part, especially for older systems?
Generac has changed engines in their liquid cooled units on a consistent basis, this would be true for their control platforms as well. Keeping up with each model number per the specific serial number is necessary for parts companies if they are going to have the part you need.
Did you know some Generac generators 14 years and older may need parts which are obsolete.
Obsolete means the manufacturer can no longer furnish replacement parts for a perfectly good generator. Let me say that again in a different way, you invested thousands of dollars over the years into a generator system for your home, if E&W has been taking care of your generator system, the unit is in good shape, the generator has roughly 350 hours on it, depending on when you installed it, and now the manufacturer can not provide replacement parts for the generator.
