For combustion engine generator systems, the battery can cause failures. The battery provides not only energy for a starter motor to spin the engine which begins the combustion process, it provides the initial energy for starting electron flow as well as the energy for other components of the system needed for correct operation.
Monitoring the battery state is an important part of any service plan and it is also necessary to monitor what maintains the battery integrity. The charge rate and duration of charge will influence battery longevity.
For some environments, battery warmers may be necessary however for North Carolina and Virginia they are not necessary.
