Generator Calibrations
It is critical that proper testing of your generator occurs before you attach your home or business to the generator source.
It is possible that voltage regulation, engine speed regulation, and fuel pressures require adjustment. Voltage spikes, voltage drop, or oscillations of the engine can exist with new equipment due to lots of factors, fuel characteristic differences between the manufacture's production plant and your structure being one.
You should not make calibrations with structure load! External load banks should be utilized for several reasons, listed are a few:
Structure load is not steady or consistent
Incorrect calibration can cause voltage spikes and or voltage drops
